When your advertising causes people to raise their hand, you’ve done something right. No, they don’t REALLY raise their hand…they say to themselves, “Hey, me too!” When, you get them to “raise their hand” it means you’ve engaged them. And when that happens, they’ll listen to more of what you have to say. They want to know more. They may FEEL things like,

Hey, that’s just like me.

I agree with that.

That frustrates me too.

I sympathize.

I want to join your cause.

I wish I was like that.

I have that problem also.

When you cause people to “raise their hand”…you’re connecting with them. And that’s a big part of making your advertising work.
